Code of conduct

At Kreate, both employees and subcontractors are committed to acting ethically.

Kreate Group’s Code of Conduct in a nutshell

The Kreate Group’s Code of Conduct supports activities in line with the company’s values, promoting good corporate citizenship and sustainable development. The Code contains the values and standards that every Kreate employee follows when performing their work and representing the Group. The Code applies to all Group personnel, including subsidiaries and leased staff. A more extensive version is available to employees through the company’s internal channels.

We act responsibly

We ensure the best possible outcome responsibly and sustainably. We do not pursue success through questionable means but act with integrity, being worthy of trust in every situation.

We comply with laws and regulations

We operate in accordance with laws and regulations in all areas.

We go home healthy every day

Everyone has the right to a safe working environment and appropriate orientation regarding the company, the worksite, and the tasks. The personnel of the Kreate Group have the duty to follow instructions, address shortcomings, and promote occupational safety and well-being.

We compete fairly

We participate openly and fairly in competition and comply with competition legislation. We do not accept restrictions on competition and ensure that we identify risk factors related to competition law.

We report appropriately

At the Kreate Group, we follow uniform accounting and reporting principles as well as internal operating guidelines, which define in detail the processes we follow for project monitoring, accounting, and financial reporting. These are supported by internal control and risk management systems.

We procure and operate ethically

In business decisions, we take the interests of the organisation into account and do not misuse our position. In the event of a conflict of interest, we turn to our supervisor. Our procurement is guided by the overall objectives of our business, with its strategic perspectives and internal cooperation. When making procurements, we use the company’s systems and share procurement-related information openly through the system.

In gifts, we remember moderation

The gifts we give and receive are customary for business and do not deviate from the normal hospitality in the industry. During contract negotiations, we neither give nor receive gifts or other hospitality from the negotiation partner in question.

We sponsor in line with our values

In sponsorship, we support activities in line with our values that increase the company’s visibility and strengthen its positive image as a responsible operator, employer, and partner. Sponsorship decisions are made by Kreate’s Board of Directors or CEO. Smaller sponsorships of up to 500 euros can be decided by a site manager with the approval of their supervisor, and the costs can be allocated to a unit or project. We have excluded from sponsorship any support for activities related to Kreate Group personnel and their families.

We participate in business-related events

Events we attend as company representatives must be related to business, and our participation must be justified.

We value our personnel

As an employer, we act fairly: we treat our personnel and other stakeholders equally and with respect. We value the professionalism of our personnel and address any discrimination, harassment, or bullying immediately. The personnel of the Kreate Group have the right to have a development discussion at least once a year and to participate in an employee survey.

We care for our environment

We are strongly involved in creating a circular economy society. We develop activities that support the circular economy and comply with environmental and waste legislation, taking environmental risks into account. We work to prevent the generation of waste, and to promote the reuse, recycling, and recovery of materials.

We communicate as experts

In all our communications, we follow good and appropriate practices. We ensure that we have permission for the images and other materials to be published, and we channel images shared from worksites through the client in accordance with Kreate’s communications and the agreement.

Kreate Group’s Code of Conduct for subcontractors

For us at the Kreate Group, responsibility is a shared matter based on our core values that guide our operations: integrity, humanity, ambition, and straightforwardness. In addition to our own personnel, we require ethical conduct and behaviour in line with these values from our subcontractors and partners.

This Code of Conduct applies not only to subcontractors but also to all service providers and suppliers under contract, as well as their employees. The personnel of the Kreate Group follow a more extensive Code of Conduct intended for employees.

We require our own personnel and everyone working with us to commit to responsible conduct. Together, we build an even better future.
