Building with passion

A satisfied and competent personnel is our most important resource, and we want to be a desired and respected employer. Employee satisfaction, safety, professional development and ethical practices are important themes for us.

A satisfied and competent personnel is the foundation of operations

The foundation of our operations is our personnel, who possess strong professional skills and are committed to common goals. Our focus on demanding infrastructure construction and our diverse range of construction projects offer our personnel opportunities to grow and develop in their careers.

We offer internships to students in the field and aim thereby to recruit young new talents who can develop in their careers. For existing personnel, skills are maintained and enhanced through a comprehensive range of training and on-the-job development. The training offering ensures, among other things, the necessary qualifications, while learning at work builds the references of both the individual and the company. Annual development discussions are held with personnel, and separate follow-up discussions are conducted with white-collar employees. Development plans are drawn up for white-collar employees in connection with development discussions. These support performance management and monitor the development of skills and objectives, which are aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Our goal is to be the best place for the best professionals in infrastructure.

Values behind our expertise

Sharp at work – safe at home

At Kreate, the core idea of our safety management is that all accidents are preventable. When the entire personnel is committed to building shared safety, zero accidents is not an impossible goal.

For our operations, it is essential that everyone working on a site builds a safe working environment both for themselves and for all site personnel. Our starting point is that safety is everyone’s responsibility. That is why we invest in thorough pre-planning of work and encourage site personnel to remind colleagues of any missing protective equipment, to maintain safe working practices and to address potential hazards. When everyone takes safety into account in all everyday choices and decisions, both attitudes and practices become safer.

Managing safety proactively and systematically, based on data, helps identify risks and hazards. We collect information through the site’s key safety-related measures, which include safety observations, weekly inspections, near miss reports and accident investigations. By identifying problem areas and sharing best practices with both Kreate Group’s personnel and the subcontractors and client of the specific site, safety awareness can be increased comprehensively. Our goal is for our personnel and partners to give and receive feedback constructively from one another. This creates a trusting working atmosphere where it is safe for everyone to work.

Orientation

Every person working at Kreate’s office or construction site has the right to a safe working environment. We provide every individual with proper orientation to the company, the job and the construction site. The goal of active occupational safety activities is to improve work safety, develop our company’s safety culture and promote well-being at work.

We operate in compliance with laws and regulations

Responsible and ethical conduct, as well as compliance with laws, form the foundation of business in the Kreate Group. Responsibility for sustainability matters lies with the Board of Directors, the CEO and the Management Team. Kreate’s operating practices are based on compliance with legislation as well as the company’s guidelines and policies. The company’s corporate culture reflects fair conduct in line with its values, and the Group has company-wide ethical guidelines in place.

Our task is to ensure that we operate fairly and that our personnel are treated equally and with respect. We do not tolerate discrimination or inappropriate treatment of our personnel or others. If we observe discrimination, harassment, bullying or inappropriate treatment, we intervene immediately. Every Kreate employee is also obligated to address any inappropriate treatment they witness. We take suspected misconduct seriously and strive to promote a culture of open discussion as well as to increase awareness of our reporting channels.
