History

How did it all begin?

The parent company of the Group, Kreate Group Plc, was registered in the Trade Register on January 31, 2014. The new player in infrastructure construction, Kreate, was formed through three acquisitions during 2014, when three skilled infrastructure construction companies — Fin-Seula, Kesälahden Maansiirto, and Insinööritoimisto Seppo Rantala — joined forces. In 2015, we named the company Kreate, as the name sounded just as rugged to us as our industry. It also reflects how we create and build something new every day — constantly evolving and renewing.

In 2017, the Railtek companies, specialized in railway construction, joined the Kreate Group. In 2018, Varkauden Louhinta, focused on rock construction, became part of the Group. In 2022, Bror Bergentreprenad AB (BBEAB), specialized in demanding underground infrastructure construction, was acquired as part of our expansion into Sweden. By 2024, the companies that merged to form Kreate had a combined total of 271 years of experience.
